About Us

You're not alone. Jesus is enough.

Leaving the faith you grew up in — or even questioning it — can feel like stepping off a cliff.
Maybe you're feeling fear, guilt, confusion, or grief. Maybe you're wondering who you can trust or where you can go from here.

Many have stood exactly where you are right now.

Jesus Is Enough is a ministry dedicated to sharing the stories of ex-Mormons who have discovered the peace and hope that come from trusting in Jesus alone.

We believe that you don’t need anything besides Jesus to be saved — not good works, not special authority, not additional scripture, and not complicated teachings.

All you need is Jesus.

And when you have him, you have everything.

We invite you to explore, ask questions, wrestle with doubts — and experience the joy and freedom of a relationship with the real Jesus of the Bible.

Not a Jesus who is merely an example for you to follow.

Not a Jesus who meets you with a long list of to-do’s.

But a Jesus who gives you his perfect record, fully and freely.

Because he is enough — for your salvation, your hope, and your future.

You might be wondering...

Why did you create Jesus Is Enough?

Because too many people who leave Mormonism are left spiritually homeless — unsure who to trust, where to go, or if they even want to believe in anything again.

Jesus Is Enough offers a safe place to explore the real Jesus, without manipulation, guilt, or pressure.

We want you to experience the hope, freedom, and certainty that comes not from doing more or being more — but from trusting that Jesus has already done everything for you.

What perspective shapes the way you write about faith, and how do you interpret the Bible?

We come from a confessional Lutheran background—one perspective within the Christian church that seeks to take the Bible seriously as God’s Word. We don’t claim to have all the answers, but we want to be clear about how we read the Bible.

A few key themes shape everything we share:

  • The Bible speaks in law and gospel—the law shows God’s perfect standard and our need, the gospel shows what Christ has already done for us.
  • We hold a high view of God and an honest view of ourselves—we cannot reach him on our own, but he comes to us in Christ with forgiveness and life.
  • We let Scripture interpret Scripture, keeping Christ at the center from beginning to end.
  • And we trust that God’s Word is clear—its central message of grace in Jesus is plain for all who open it.

This perspective shapes every story, article, and resource we create—because at the heart of the Bible’s message is the truth we’ve come to see: Jesus really is enough.

What makes Jesus Is Enough different from other resources?

We know what it’s like to be suspicious of religious claims — to question everything after realizing you’ve been misled before.
That’s why we focus on:

  • Clear, biblical truth without hidden agendas
  • Real-life stories from people who’ve been where you are
  • Respect for your journey — we don’t rush, pressure, or shame
  • A simple message: You don’t have to earn God’s love. Jesus already secured it for you.

What if I'm not sure I believe in anything anymore?

That’s okay. Doubt is a normal part of this process and often, it’s the doorway to discovering real, lasting truth.

You don’t have to have it all figured out to be here.

We invite you to explore at your own pace, ask your honest questions, and wrestle with your doubts.

Jesus isn't afraid of your questions — and neither are we.

I still feel hurt, betrayed, and afraid. Is there hope for me?

Absolutely.

It's natural to carry pain, fear, or anger after experiencing religious betrayal.

Healing doesn't happen overnight — but it does happen.

Real hope is found not in returning to man-made systems, but in a real, personal relationship with Jesus himself.

And Jesus doesn’t just call you to himself — he also calls you into community with others who know and follow him.

A healthy, Biblical Christian community isn’t about control, shame, or pressure. It's about support, truth, love, and encouragement for your journey.

You don't have to heal alone. You don’t have to walk alone.

Jesus invites the weary, the burdened, and the broken — and he promises rest, not more rules.

You are not too broken, too skeptical, or too hurt for him. He already knows your story, and he loves you.

What should I do next?

There’s no pressure or timeline here.
